across the lake one goose

I enjoyed your haiku. I have a vivid picture in my mind. Zhanna

i saw what richard is saying, however, i asked myself, "where's the haiku"

    already freezing-
    across the lake one goose
    honks once

i was rather perplexed, this piece says much, albeit, in the same breath, it says little.

i imagine it (could) be winter

thinking quickly, i tried this on for size:

    already freezing-
    goose honks once
    across the lake

on closing; lately, when i see the word "goose", i see the humor.
