    Frankly, I don't understand the meaning of this haiku. Maybe it's because of my English. Could somebody help me?

    Hopefully the author will answer your question, but I think it's simply the fondness of even the old kitchen food/sauce splash on the wall as they leave their old house to move into new accomodation.

    I like the fact that the author has caught the mundaneness of moving house in such a manner! ;-)
